TIGERNUTS has just gone through a particularly demanding period. Over the past six weeks, we have carried out several audits and certification renewals that are essential to ensure our customers receive products that meet their requirements. The effort from the various departments involved was intense, but the result was more than worth it.
A series of diverse and fundamental certifications
The year began with a visit to the production fields in Niger for their Organic (BIO) certification, followed by Kosher, Halal, and Gluten-Free certifications, and concluded with the Organic (BIO) audit at our facilities in L’Eliana, Valencia. The conclusion: all our processes comply with the standards required by our customers, allowing them to operate with full confidence, knowing that our company meets the requirements in each of the audited areas.
SMETA 4-Pillars
All the audits mentioned above are annual, but to close this cycle, Tigernuts also completed the SMETA 4-Pillars audit, conducted every two years. This audit evaluates key aspects such as working conditions, safety, environmental responsibility, and business ethics. It is a thorough and highly comprehensive assessment. Successfully passing it provides additional assurance to all our partners.

After these particularly intense weeks, we take away the satisfaction of knowing that we continue to move in the right direction: offering products with the highest level of assurance, backed by solid certifications and end-to-end controlled processes.
