The New Harvest Arrives

Beyond its commitment to quality, the stability and availability of its products have always defined Tigernuts. A large part of our work—and our responsibility—lies in managing our supply chain and maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers. This approach allows us to guarantee product availability at the best possible price. Now that the 2026 harvest is progressively arriving at our warehouses, and in a time of significant turbulence, it is a good moment to assess the current situation.

Improvements in the Tigernut Supply Chain

The new 2026 tigernut harvest is now available and comes with a significant advancement in our logistics chain. After months of collaboration with our partners, carriers, freight forwarders, and shipping companies, we have established a new export route for our goods. This has notably reduced transit times and the total distance traveled. This optimization not only speeds up the reception of raw materials but also reduces the carbon footprint compared to 2025, by avoiding the previous route, which was longer and more hazardous and even required military escort, as reported in similar news throughout 2025.

Thanks to this improvement, the campaign begins with a more efficient and sustainable flow, reinforcing our commitment to quality and environmental responsibility—despite the inherent challenges of operating in certain areas of West Africa.

Price Transparency

The new harvest is arriving with stable pricing. However, external factors are putting upward pressure on costs. In recent weeks, rising oil prices—driven by the war in Iran—have directly impacted international transport. Additionally, petroleum-derived materials such as sacks and vacuum packaging bags may also see price increases in the near future. Despite this, we continue working to mitigate these impacts and ensure a reliable and competitive supply for all our customers.

At Tigernuts, we will continue to keep you informed of every development and maintain the transparency that defines our relationship with our clients.
